The Mountaineers knocked off BCS opponent Duke for the second time in a week on Tuesday afternoon. The Mountaineers were led by Jamie Nunn who pitched beautifully, going 6 innings, allowing only one unearned run on three hits and striking out eight batters on the day to pick up his first win of his career.

Daniel Kassouf cranked his fifth home run of the season to lead the Mountaineers to their twelfth straight win. In all, Appalachian notched another game with 10 or more hits, with 12 on the day. Every player in the starting lineup had at least one hit.
